I’ll break this review down into a few sections to make it a bit easier to skip what’s not important to you. Price: Purchased on sale for around 80 EUR, which is about all I’d pay again. Ordering and Delivery: Knives and Tools has this well organised. Immediate order confirmation and fast delivery (more or less 2 business days to Belgium) through UPS with tracking. Unboxing: The knife arrived in a sturdy box with a little holder for the knife box inside so it isn’t damaged in transit. Really nice detail! QSP also does a nice job here with the knife in a little foam cutout in the QSP box. Also included are some stickers which I have no use for. What I was missing are extra screws like Kizer includes. At this price, QSP should include them. Design: Love the carbon with copper inlay. First time seeing something like this and I really like it. Silky smooth. There were a couple of bits of loose copper thread in the scales, but they were easy to push in or break off. Also a perfect full hand grip for my size 8.5 hand. A bit on the heavy side though. There’s no milling on the scales, which is a bit of a miss. Again, QSP should look at what Civivi and Kizer can do. Action: Here’s where the knife let me down. The knife felt very gritty and it was very easy to fail with the blade only coming out 70%. QSP will void the warranty if you take the knife apart so I was left with a bit of a dilemma; take the knife apart to try to improve it or return it. As I do like everything else about the knife, I decided I will fix it and live with the consequences. Upon disassembly, I was surprised to see bearings in plastic cages. Everyone else is running bearings in metal cages so this felt super cheap and was honestly disappointing. The track the bearings ride on in the blade itself had a strange score mark. It didn’t feel like it would affect performance, but again, bad QC in my opinion. With everything cleaned, I added a drop of nano oil to each bearing cage and reassembled the knife. The action is night and day know. Its silky smooth with no gritty feel. It’s still possible to fail occasionally but really only if I try. Conclusion: Definitely not worth MSRP. If you like the look and get it on sale, it’s probably worth it for the carbon with copper inlay, even though the blade steel is nothing special.

Très jolie couteau, agréable et léger. Par contre attention ce type de plaquettes présentes des imperfections comme des écailles qui se soulèvent car c’est une sorte de mille-feuilles. Cela peut contrarier. Comme chaque couteau a des plaquettes différentes avec plus ou moins de motifs, c’est une loterie esthétique…le mien est magnifique. Par contre, c’est fragile, donc pas pour un usage intensif.
